2702. It was reported from 'Abdullāh bin Mughaffal who said: "A skin-full of fat was thrown away on the day of Khaibar. I came to it and clung to it, and then said: 'I will not give anyone anything from this today.' When I turned around, I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ smiling at me." (Sahih)
2702 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَالْقَعْنَبِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ: دُلِّيَ جِرَابٌ مِنْ شَحْمٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ قَالَ: فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ قَالَ: ثُمَّ قُلْتُ: لَا أُعْطِي مِنْ هَذَا أَحَدًا الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا. قَالَ: فَالْتَفَتُّ، «فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَبَسَّمُ إِلَيَّ»
