English translation

2769. It was reported from Abū Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "Faith has prevented treacherous assassination. A believer does not commit treacherous assassination." (Hasan)

Arabic text

2769 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُزَابَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْإِيمَانُ قَيَّدَ الْفَتْكَ لَا يَفْتِكُ مُؤْمِنٌ»
