3178. Jābir bin Samurah said: "The Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Ibn Ad-Dahdāh when we were present, then a horse was brought, and it was held until he mounted it, then it started to trot with him, and we were running around him ﷺ." (Ṣaḥīḥ)
3178 - حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى ابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ وَنَحْنُ شُهُودٌ، ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِفَرَسٍ فَعُقِلَ حَتَّى رَكِبَهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَتَوَقَّصُ بِهِ وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى حَوْلَهُ»
