English translation

3269. (There is another chain) from Ibn ‘Abbās, from the Prophet ﷺ (a narration similar to no. 3268), but he did not mention swearing, and he added: “And he did not inform him.”[1] (Sahih)

3269 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْقَسَمَ زَادَ فِيهِ وَلَمْ يُخْبِرْهُ
