3279. It was narrated from Umm Habib bint Dhu'aib bin Qais Al-Muzaniyyah - who was married to a man of Aslam, then she was married to a nephew of Šafiyyah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. Ibn Harmalah (one of the narrators) said: "Umm Habib gave us a Sā' and narrated to us from the nephew of Šafiyyah, from Šafiyyah, that it was the Sā' of the Prophet ”Anas[1] said: “I measured it, and found that it was two and a half Mudds of the Mudd of Hishām.” (Ḍaʿf)
3279 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبٍ بِنْتِ ذُؤَيْبِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُزَنِيَّةِ، - وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، ثُمَّ كَانَتْ تَحْتَ ابْنِ أَخٍ لِصَفِيَّةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -، قَالَ ابْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ: «فَوَهَبَتْ لَنَا أُمُّ حَبِيبٍ صَاعًا، حَدَّثَتْنَا عَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ أَنَّهُ صَاعُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: " فَجَرَّبْتُهُ، أَوْ قَالَ: فَحَزَرْتُهُ فَوَجَدْتُهُ مُدَّيْنِ وَنِصْفًا بِمُدِّ هِشَامٍ "
