English translation

3423. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbās said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was treated with cupping, and he gave the cupper his wages; if he had known it was impure he would not have given it to him." (Sahīh)

Arabic text

3423 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ وَلَوْ عَلِمَهُ خَبِيثًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ»
