English translation

3483. ‘Awn bin Abī Juhaifah narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade the price of a dog.” (Sahih)

Arabic text

3483 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَوْنُ ابْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ»
