English translation

3489. It was narrated that Al-Mughīrah bin Shu'bah said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever sells wine, he might as well eat pig!" (Da'if)

3489 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنْ طُعْمَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْجَعْفَرِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ بَيَانٍ التَّغْلِبِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ بَاعَ الْخَمْرَ فَلْيُشَقِّصِ الْخَنَازِيرَ»
