3494. It was narrated from Yahyā from [ʿUbaidullāh] who said: “Nāfiʿ informed me, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: ‘They used to buy food without weight or measurement at the upper part of the market, and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade selling it until they had moved it.’” (Sahih)
3494 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانُوا يَتَبَايَعُونَ الطَّعَامَ جُزَافًا بِأَعْلَى السُّوقِ «فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى يَنْقُلُوهُ»
