English translation
3627. It was narrated from 'Awf bin Mālik that the Prophet ﷺ judged between two men, and when he left, the man against whom the ruling went, said: "Allāh is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allāh, Exalted is He, apportions blame for negligence, but you should take care of your affairs and be smart. Then if something gets the better of you, in that case you may say: ‘Allāh is sufficient for me and He is the best disposer of affairs.’” (Da'if)
