368. It was reported from Hammād, from Hishām, from Ibn Sirīn, from ‘Āishah: “The Prophet ﷺ would not pray in our wraps.”[2] Hammād said: “I heard Sa‘eed bin Abī Ṣadaqah say: ‘I asked Muḥammad (Ibn Sirīn) about it, but he did not narrate it to me. And he said: ‘I heard it a long time ago, and don’t remember who I heard it from. I don’t recall whether the person I heard it from was trustworthy or not, so (do not) ask about it.’” (Ṣaḥīh)
368 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي فِي مَلَاحِفِنَا» قَالَ حَمَّادٌ: وَسَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي صَدَقَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْهُ فَلَمْ يُحَدِّثْنِي، وَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ مُنْذُ زَمَانٍ، وَلَا أَدْرِي مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتُهُ، وَلَا أَدْرِي أَسَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ ثَبْتٍ أَوْ لَا فَسَلُوا عَنْهُ
