English translation

3725. It was narrated from ‘Abdullāh bin Abī Awfā that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The one who is serving water to the people should be the last of them to drink.” (Sahih)

Arabic text

3725 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا»
