3737. It was narrated from 'Ubaidullāh, from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said... narrating its meaning (similar to 3736). He added: "If he is not fasting, let him eat, and if he is fasting let him supplicate (for the host)." (Sahih)
3737 - حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: بِمَعْنَاهُ زَادَ «فَإِنْ كَانَ مُفْطِرًا فَلْيَطْعَمْ، وَإِنْ كَانَ صَائِمًا فَلْيَدْعُ»
