3875. It was narrated that Sa’d said: “I was sick and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came to visit me. He placed his hand on my chest until I felt its coolness in my heart, and he said: ‘You are a man who is suffering from a heart sickness. Go to Al-Hārīth bin Kaladah, a man from Thaḳīf, for he is a man who knows about medicine. Let him take seven 'Ajwah dates of Al-Madinah, and grind them with their pits, then let him pour it (the mixture) into the side of your mouth.” (Ḍaʿīf)
3875 - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: مَرِضْتُ مَرَضًا أَتَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُنِي فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيَّ حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ بَرْدَهَا عَلَى فُؤَادِي فَقَالَ: «إِنَّكَ رَجُلٌ مَفْئُودٌ، ائْتِ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ كَلَدَةَ أَخَا ثَقِيفٍ فَإِنَّهُ رَجُلٌ يَتَطَبَّبُ فَلْيَأْخُذْ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ مِنْ عَجْوَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَجَأْهُنَّ بِنَوَاهُنَّ ثُمَّ لِيَلُدَّكَ بِهِنَّ»
