4069. It was narrated from Mujāhid that ‘Abdullāh bin ‘Amr said: “A man who was wearing two red garments passed by the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him with Salām, but the Prophet ﷺ did not respond to him.” (Da‘if) [1] One of those who heard this text from the author, see the introduction.
4069 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُزَابَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: «مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
