4114. It was narrated from Dāwud bin Sawwār Al-Muzanī, from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you arranges the marriage of his female servant to his slave, or hired man, she should not look at the area between the navel and the knee (of her master)." (Hasan)
4114 - حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا زَوَّجَ أَحَدُكُمْ خَادِمَهُ - عَبْدَهُ، أَوْ أَجِيرَهُ - فَلَا يَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَا دُونَ السُّرَّةِ، وَفَوْقَ الرُّكْبَةِ»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: «وَصَوَابُهُ سَوَّارُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمُزَنِيُّ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، وَهِمَ فِيهِ وَكِيعٌ»
