English translation

4145. It was narrated that Jābir said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to me: 'Have you got blankets?' I said: 'How could we afford blankets?' He said: 'Soon you will have blankets.'" (Sahih)

Arabic text

4145 - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَتَّخَذْتُمْ أَنْمَاطًا؟» قُلْتُ: وَأَنَّى لَنَا الْأَنْمَاطُ؟ قَالَ: «أَمَا إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ لَكُمْ أَنْمَاطٌ»
