4165. It was narrated from Umm Al-Hasan, from her grandmother, from 'Aishah, that Hind, the daughter of 'Utbah said: "O Prophet of Allāh, accept my pledge of allegiance." He said: "I shall not accept your pledge of allegiance until you change your hands (by applying henna to them), for they look like the paws of a predator." (Da'if)
4165 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَتْنِي غِبْطَةُ بِنْتُ عَمْرٍو الْمُجَاشِعِيَّةُ، قَالَتْ: حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي أُمُّ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، أَنَّ هِنْدَ بِنْتَ عُتْبَةَ، قَالَتْ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، بَايِعْنِي، قَالَ: «لَا أُبَايِعُكِ حَتَّى تُغَيِّرِي كَفَّيْكِ، كَأَنَّهُمَا كَفَّا سَبُعٍ»
