4277. It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Zaid said: "We were with the Prophet , and he mentioned tribulation, and spoke of its seriousness. We said - or they said - '0 Messenger of Allah, if we live to see that it will destroy us.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'No. All that will happen, is that you will be killed."'['] Sa'eed said: "And I saw my brothers killed." (Sahih)
4277 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ سَلَّامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ فِتْنَةً، فَعَظَّمَ أَمْرَهَا، فَقُلْنَا: - أَوْ قَالُوا: - يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، لَئِنْ أَدْرَكَتْنَا هَذِهِ لَتُهْلِكَنَّا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَلَّا، إِنَّ بِحَسْبِكُمُ الْقَتْلَ»، قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: «فَرَأَيْتُ إِخْوَانِي قُتِلُوا»
