4280. It was narrated from Dāwud, from 'Āmir, from Jābir bin Samurah who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'This religion will remain strong until there have been twelve Khalifah.' The people said the Takbīr and made noise. Then he said something in a low voice, and I said to my father: 'O my father, what did he say?' He said: 'All of them will be from the Quraish.'" (Saḥīh)
4280 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً»، قَالَ: فَكَبَّرَ النَّاسُ وَضَجُّوا، ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيفَةً، قُلْتُ لِأَبِي: يَا أَبَتِ، مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ: «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»
