English translation

4385. It was narrated from Mālik, from Nāfi‘, from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ cut off (the thief’s hand) for a shield whose price was three Dirhams. (Sahih)

Arabic text

4385 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلَاثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ»
