Text and translation

English translation

4434. It was narrated from Bashir bin Al-Muhājir (he said): “Abdullāh bin Buraidah narrated to me, from his father, who said: ‘We, the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, were speaking about the Ghāmīdī woman, and Mā'iz bin Mālik; if they had turned back and gone home’ – or he said: ‘if they did not come back again after having confessed – they would not have been pursued. Rather he stoned them after the fourth (confession).’” (Hasan)
