4444. Zakariyyā bin Sulaim narrated a similar report with his chain, and added: Then he stoned her with pebbles the size of chickpeas, then he said: “Stone her but avoid the face.” When she was dead, he went out and offered the funeral prayer for her, and said something about repentance similar to the Hadīth of Buraidah (as no. 4442). (Da'if)
4444 - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ زَادَ: ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا بِحَصَاةٍ مِثْلَ الْحِمِّصَةِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «ارْمُوا وَاتَّقُوا الْوَجْهَ، فَلَمَّا طَفِئَتْ أَخْرَجَهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا» وَقَالَ: فِي التَّوْبَةِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ
