English translation
4475. This Hadīth (a narration similar to no. 4474) was narrated from (another chain from) Muḥammad bin Iṣḥāq but he did not mention ‘Āishah. He said: “He ordered that the two men and the woman who had spoken of the evil, Ḥassān bin Ṭhābit and Mīṣṭah bin Uthāthah, (be flogged).” Al-Nufailī (one of the narrators) said: “The woman was Ḥamnah bint Jahsh.” (Hasan)
