English translation

4620. It was narrated from 'Ubaid Aṣ-Ṣayd, from Al-Ḥasan, regarding the saying of Allāh, the Mighty and Sublime: "And a barrier will be set between them and that which they desire"[1] he said: "Between them and faith." (Da'if)

Arabic text

4620 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، قَدْ سَمَّاهُ غَيْرُ ابْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ الصِّيدِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ قَالَ: «بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ الْإِيمَانِ»
