English translation

4623. Yaḥyā bin Kathīr Al-'Anbarī said: "Qurrah bin Khālid used to say to us: 'O young men, do not be deceived concerning Al-Ḥasan, for his opinion was based on the Sunnah and what is right.'" (Saḥīh)

Arabic text

4623 - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ كَثِيرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: كَانَ قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ يَقُولُ لَنَا يَا فِتْيَانُ: «لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى الْحَسَنِ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ رَأْيُهُ السُّنَّةَ وَالصَّوَابَ»
