English translation

4638. It was narrated that Makhūl said: "The Romans will certainly enter Ash-Shām for forty days, and no place will be spared from them except Damascus and 'Ammān." (Da'if)

Arabic text

4638 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، قَالَ: «لَتَمْخُرَنَّ الرُّومُ الشَّامَ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا لَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْهَا إِلَّا دِمَشْقَ وَعَمَّانَ»
