Text and translation

English translation

4640. It was narrated from Makhūl, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The Muslims' place of encampment during the Great Battles will be a land called Al-Ghūṭah." (Saḥīḥ)

Arabic text

4640 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا بُرْدٌ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَوْضِعُ فُسْطَاطِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي الْمَلَاحِمِ أَرْضٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا الْغُوطَةُ»
