English translation

4818. It was narrated from Humaid that Anas said: "A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, I need something from you.' He said to her: 'O Mother of so-and-so, sit in any corner of the street you want and I will sit with you.' So the Prophet ﷺ sat until she had said what she wanted to say to him." (Hasan)

4818 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بِنِ الطَّبَّاعِ، وَكَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، قَالَ ابْنُ عِيسَى: قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةً فَقَالَ لَهَا: «يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ اجْلِسِي فِي أَيِّ نَوَاحِي السِّكَكِ شِئْتِ حَتَّى أَجْلِسَ إِلَيْكِ» قَالَ: فَجَلَسَتْ فَجَلَسَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا لَمْ يَذْكُرُ ابْنُ عِيسَى حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا، وَقَالَ كَثِيرٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ،
