4908. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbās that a man cursed the wind – Muslim (one of the narrators) said: "A man's cloak was snatched away by the wind at the time of the Prophet ﷺ, and he cursed it." – "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not curse it, for it is under (the Divine) command, and whoever curses something that does not deserve it, the curse will come back on him.'" (Da'if)
4908 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، ح حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ الطَّائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ - قَالَ زَيْدٌ -: عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا لَعَنَ الرِّيحَ - وَقَالَ مُسْلِمٌ إِنَّ رَجُلًا نَازَعَتْهُ الرِّيحُ رِدَاءَهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَعَنَهَا -، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَلْعَنْهَا، فَإِنَّهَا مَأْمُورَةٌ، وَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَعَنَ شَيْئًا لَيْسَ لَهُ بِأَهْلٍ رَجَعَتِ اللَّعْنَةُ عَلَيْهِ»
