English translation

5033. It was narrated from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you sneezes, let him say: 'Al-Ḥamdulillāhi 'alā kulli ḥāl (Praise be to Allāh in all circumstances),' and let his brother or companion say, 'Yarhamuk Allāh (may Allāh have mercy on you),' and let him say: 'Yahdikumullāh, wa yuṣlihu bālakum (May Allāh guide you and set your affairs straight).'" (Ṣaḥīḥ)

5033 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ، وَلْيَقُلْ أَخُوهُ أَوْ صَاحِبُهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ، وَيَقُولُ هُوَ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ»
