5084. Abū Dāwud said: And with this chain, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “When morning comes, let one of you say: ‘Aṣbahnā wa aṣbahal-mulkulillāhi rabbil-‘ālamīn. Allāhumma innī aṣ’aluka khaira ḥadhal-yawm fathahu wa naṣrahu wa nūrāhu wa barakatahu wa hudāhu, wa a’ūdhu bikamin sharri mā fīhi wa sharri mā ba’dahu (We have reached the morning and dominion belongs to Allāh, the Lord of the Worlds. O Allāh, I ask You for the good of this day and its success, victory, light, blessing and guidance. I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which is in it and that which comes after it).’ Then when evening comes, let him say something similar.” (Da'if)
