English translation
5246. It was narrated from Sālim from his father, and on one occasion, he attributed it to the Prophet ﷺ: "Do not leave fires burning in your houses when you go to sleep." (Ṣaḥīh)

5246 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، رِوَايَةً وَقَالَ: مَرَّةً يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «لَا تَتْرُكُوا النَّارَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ حِينَ تَنَامُونَ»
