5253. It was narrated from Abū Lubābah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade killing the snakes that live in houses, unless they had two stripes or were short-tailed, for they take away eyesight and cause miscarriages of that which is in women’s wombs. (Saḥīh)
5253 - حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الْجِنَّانِ الَّتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ، وَالْأَبْتَرَ، فَإِنَّهُمَا يَخْطِفَانِ الْبَصَرَ، وَيَطْرَحَانِ مَا فِي بُطُونِ النِّسَاءِ»
