English translation

692. Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray towards his she-camel. (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

692 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَوَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ عُثْمَانُ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «كَانَ يُصَلِّي إِلَى بَعِيرٍ»

Commentary

It is prohibited to pray in the pen of camels. In the case of one animal, it can be used as Surah.
