71. Abū Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The purification of a container from which a dog has licked, is that it should be washed seven times, the first of them with earth.” (Sahih) Abū Dāwūd said: Similar has been narrated from Ayyūb and Ḥabīb bin Ash-Shahīd, from Muḥammad.
71 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، فِي حَدِيثِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «طُهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ، أَنْ يُغْسَلَ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ، أُولَاهُنَّ بِتُرَابٍ»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَ أَيُّوبُ، وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ: عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ،
