746. Abū Hurairah said: "If I were in front of the Prophet ﷺ, I would have seen his armpits." (Hasan) Ibn Mu'ād[1] said: "He said: 'Lāḥiq would say: 'Meaning that, in the prayer, he cannot be in front of the Prophet ﷺ.'" Mūsā (one of the narrators) added: "Meaning that when he said the Takbīr and raised his hands."
746 - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مَرْوَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ لَاحِقٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: «لَوْ كُنْتُ قُدَّامَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَرَأَيْتُ إِبِطَيْهِ»، زَادَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ: يَقُولُ لَاحِقٌ: أَلَا تَرَى أَنَّهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قُدَّامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ وَزَادَ مُوسَى بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، يَعْنِي «إِذَ اكَبَّرَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ»
