    (قلت: إسناده ضعيف؛ عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق: هو أبو شيبة الواسطي، ضعيف اتفاقاً. قال النووي: " اتفقوا على تضعيف هذا الحديث؛ لأنه من رواية عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق الواسطي، وهو ضعيف، باتفاق أئمة الجرح والتعديل ". وقد اضطرب في إسناده: فمرة جعله من (مسند علي) ، كما في هذه الرواية؛ على اختلاف فيها عليه. ومرة جعله من (مسند أبي هريرة) ، وهو الآتي بعد حديث)

English translation

756. It was reported from Abī Juhaifah that ‘Ali, may Allāh be pleased with him, said: “The Sunnah is to place the palm over the palm in the prayer, under the navel.” (Ḍaʿīf)

Arabic text

756 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «مِنَ السُّنَّةِ وَضْعُ الْكَفِّ عَلَى الْكَفِّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ»
