English translation

877. Āishah reported: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would frequently say in his Rukū' and prostration: 'Subḥānak Allāhumma, rabbanā, wa bi-ḥamdik. Allāhummaghfirlī (Glory is to You, O Allāh, our Lord, and may You be praised, O Allāh, forgive me)' — in implementation of the Qur'an." (Sahih)

877 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ: «سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي يَتَأَوَّلُ الْقُرْآنَ»
