1028. Narrated 'Abdullāh bin Zaid Al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ went towards the Muṣallā to offer the Istisqā' prayer and when he invoked Allāh or intended to invoke Allāh he faced the Qiblah and turned his cloak inside out.
1028 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّ عَبَّادَ بْنَ تَمِيمٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ إِلَى المُصَلَّى يُصَلِّي، وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا دَعَا - أَوْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ - اسْتَقْبَلَ القِبْلَةَ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: «عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ هَذَا مَازِنِيٌّ، وَالأَوَّلُ كُوفِيٌّ هُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ»
