English translation

1539. Narrated 'Aishah رضي الله عنها the wife of the Prophet ﷺ: I used to scent Allāh's Messenger ﷺ when he wanted to assume Iḥrām and also on finishing Iḥrām before the Tawāf round the Ka'bah (Tawāf-al-Ifāda).

Arabic text

1539 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ القَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: «كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِإِحْرَامِهِ حِينَ يُحْرِمُ، وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ»
