1940. Narrated Thābit Al-Bunānī: Anas bin Mālik رضي الله عنه was asked whether they disliked the cupping for a person observing Ṣaum (fast). He replied in the negative and said, "Only if it causes weakness." Narrated Shu'bah: In the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ.
1940 - حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا البُنَانِيَّ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَكُنْتُمْ تَكْرَهُونَ الحِجَامَةَ لِلصَّائِمِ؟ قَالَ: «لاَ، إِلَّا مِنْ أَجْلِ الضَّعْفِ»، وَزَادَ شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
