English translation
2005. Narrated AbUMUsã,,:The day of 'As}üra' was considered as 'Eid day by the Jews. So the Prophet kir ordered, recommend you (Muslims) to observe Saum (fast) on this day."

2005 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْسٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ تَعُدُّهُ اليَهُودُ عِيدًا، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَصُومُوهُ أَنْتُمْ»
