“Allāh will destroy Ribā (usury) and will give increase for Sadaqat (deeds of charity, alms). And Allāh likes not the disbelievers, sinners!” (V.2:276)

English translation

2087. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: I heard Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ saying, “The swearing (by the seller) may persuade the buyer to purchase the goods but that will be deprived of Allāh's Blessing."(1)

Arabic text

2087 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ ابْنُ المُسَيِّبِ: إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «الحَلِفُ مُنَفِّقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ، مُمْحِقَةٌ لِلْبَرَكَةِ»
