English translation

2467. Narrated Usāma bin Zaid رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: Once the Prophet ﷺ stood at the top of one of the castles (or higher buildings) of Al-Madīna and said, "Do you see what I see? No doubt I see the places or spots of Al-Fitan (trials and afflictions) amongst your houses as numerous as the spots where rain-drops fall (during a heavy rain). [See Hadīth No.1878] ١

2467 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: أَشْرَفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُطُمٍ مِنْ آطَامِ المَدِينَةِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَرَوْنَ مَا أَرَى؟ إِنِّي أَرَى مَوَاقِعَ الفِتَنِ خِلاَلَ بُيُوتِكُمْ كَمَوَاقِعِ القَطْرِ»
