English translation
2495. Narrated Jäbir bin 'Abdullãh .0 .41: The Prophet ; established the right of huf'a (i.e., pre-emption) in joint properties; but when the land is divided and Ihe ways are demarcated, then there is no pre-emption.

2495 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا جَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الشُّفْعَةَ فِي كُلِّ مَا لَمْ يُقْسَمْ، فَإِذَا وَقَعَتِ الحُدُودُ وَصُرِّفَتِ الطُّرُقُ، فَلاَ شُفْعَةَ»
