2823. Narrated Anas bin Mālik: رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "O Allāh! I seek refuge with You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice and senile old age; I seek refuge with You from Fitnah (trials or afflictions) of life and death and seek refuge with You from the punishment in the grave."
2823 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْزِ وَالكَسَلِ، وَالجُبْنِ وَالهَرَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَحْيَا وَالمَمَاتِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ»
