English translation

2919. Narrated Anas: رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The Prophet ﷺ allowed 'Abdur-Raḥmān bin 'Aūf and Az-Zubair to wear silken shirts because they had a skin disease causing itching.

Arabic text

2919 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ المِقْدَامِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا حَدَّثَهُمْ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، وَالزُّبَيْرِ فِي قَمِيصٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ، مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا»
