3030. Narrated Jābir bin 'Abdullāh رضي الله عنه : The Prophet ﷺ said, "War is deceit."

Arabic text

3030 - حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الفَضْلِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الحَرْبُ خَدْعَةٌ»
