English translation
3087. Narrated Jābir bin 'Abdullāh رضي الله عنه: I was on a journey in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and when we reached Al-Madīna, he said to me, "Enter the mosque and offer two Rak'a (prayer)."

3087 - حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا المَدِينَةَ قَالَ لِي: «ادْخُلِ المَسْجِدَ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
